KittyBerry: I can sing, but I can’t sing AND dance! Every time I sing my fur puffs out, and I lose my balance. Any advice? 

Katy: I find a spot on the wall and focus on that. It really stops me toppling over when I dance, especially when I’m doing high kicks!

KittyBerry: I can make TikTok videos, but I’m scared to sing at our school’s talent show. Do you get stage fright? 

Katy: I sniff catnip before a show, which calms me right down. You should try it!

Bro: I realize goats aren’t exactly known for hunting, but could I be a Hunter in the Albatar war?

Leonie Rogers: Well Bro, some of the goats I’ve met have magnificent horns, so if the Lady calls you, perhaps you’d already have built in weapons! Besides, goats are tough, gritty, and get the job done! I’m not sure how you’d go riding a horse, though. Can you ride a horse? 

Puffzilla: Leonie darling, I love that Kazari is a short and stocky 15 year old girl. If I were a character in this book, Kazari would have to save me for sure. Do gorgones eat poodles?

Puffzilla, the sad, sad, answer, is yes – gorgones do eat poodles. In fact, they even…spoiler alert for Dark Days, the sequel to Amethyst Pledge…eat puppies…They’re seriously evil.

Bro: I come from a long line of goats that could have been professional athletes, if climbing mountains was a sport. Are there any goats in My Animal Family?

Michael: There’s a mountain climber, that’s me, and there are something like 100 species referred to in the book, but not many ungulates represented. 

Puffzilla: Whatever. In my animal family, we are treated as royalty, constantly on tour from one dog show to the next. If you had poodles in your book, would they be properly groomed?

Michael: Nope. I would encourage them to return to the form of their wild wolf ancestor. Did you know domesticated dogs and wolves are essentially the same thing, with few genetic differences? Amazing.

Mawson Bear: I dreamed that I rolled off my cushion all the way to the fridge that has the honey and berries inside it.

I tried to open the dream fridge but it turned into a huge white floppy pillow and I toppled on to it and fell asleep and I dreamed of finding wild  berries inside a pillow-fridge and .. errr .. I woke up and …I errrrr ..  umm… Where am I? Is this all a dream, Kitty Berry?

KittyBerry: … Or I could be a bold muse like Frilly. Do I need to become a wild kitty to be bold? Maybe a Wild KittyBear-ry?

Mawson Bear: All kitties can be bold. As Frilly showed, you just have to set off on your quest and the Boldness will be with you.
